Playing a Mage

The idea of Mage the Ascension is that you are a member of the Council of Nine Mystic Traditions in the middle of a civil war for the beliefs of mortals, as well as (ultimately) Ascension.
Every Mage has within them an Awakened Avatar that drives them towards Ascension or Godhead.


Mage contains three major factions and one minor faction.
These major factions are the Tradition Mages, the Technocratic Union, and the Nephandi.
The remaining minor faction are known as Marauders. They can not be truly considered a faction however due to a crippling inability to organize with one another.
